LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- May Gray is here to stay at least through the end of the month - and that's when June Gloom will take right over.

Southern California is going to have similar conditions all week: cool, cloudy mornings, followed by the sun bringing warmups by the afternoon.

On Tuesday, Los Angeles and Orange counties will see clouds in the morning, with a high of 73 degrees by afternoon. Conditions are expected to remain similar all week.

The valleys and Inland Empire on Tuesday will also see clouds in the morning with some hazy sun later and a high of 78 by the afternoon.

Beaches will see cool, cloudy conditions with a high of 64.

The mountains will be sunny and breezy on Tuesday with a high of 72.

Deserts will be sunny and warm, reaching a high of 88 by the afternoon. It'll be a cool night, however, dipping to 57 at night.
